I used to be able to do the most realistic southern accent, but now I can't. My voice changed. :(

Maybe you should try eating a Texas rib.  :rofl2:

Of course, I've lost you with that comment, unless you've seen the commercial I'm referring to.  :rofl2:

I get lost easily by just about anything, so don't think you've accomplished anything special. :P

As said, Billy i need your help.

Everytime, i click on the WinTV 2000 icon and the little white WinTV tab appears it just stays there and freezes. Nothing happens. The only way to get out of this is hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete and restart the computer. It's annoying. How can i prevent WinTV 2000 from freezing when intializing?
Not sure. That has never happened to me.
Now that I think about it, try this. Unplug the tuner from the computer. Reboot the computer. Plug back in the tuner to the computer. Try launching WinTV.

This happens though with my tuner plugged in. I plug in the tuner, open WinTV and the intialization tab saying "WinTV The Best TV for your PC!" appears and never finishes. I have to take out the tuner and reboot the computer to escape this.

Could i uninstall the application (but keep the drivers) and reinstall it?

I suppose you could try that, though I'm not sure how well it would work. Also, have you tried out WinTV version 6?

Installer is at the bottom of the page. http://www.hauppauge.com/site/support/support_hvr950.html

Nvm, i see that's possible.

I downloaded the v6 application and it worked. Unfortunately, it might freeze the second time i load it.  :(
