12 inches?!

That's too short. The distance from my computer to the receiver is around 6 feet. How can I remedy this? Do they have longer cables in the package?

You can buy longer cables just about anywhere that sells electronics. RadioShack would probably be the best place, as they have plenty to choose from there.

Radio carries the tuner for 60 dollars. I have a coaxial cable. Will it work?

Yes, they will work. That's what I use for my tuner.

Yes Billy exactly!

I have a Sony Vaio laptop that I want to connect the tuner to. How long does channel scan take?

With the cable here, it takes maybe two or so minutes to scan all 70-some channels.

NO. If you have a box, you only need Channel 3 on your tuner app. You contol channels via the satellite receiver.

Had the pinnacle HDTV stick. Channel 3 never came up on my application. Changed the channels via reciever did nothing to the window. I want to buy another one but my dad won't let me.

If by any chance, does anyone have an extra tuner they're not using? I'm very serious about this. If you're willing to give away one please LET ME KNOW!

Make sure you have the correct type selected: Antenna, Cable, Cable HRC, etc.
