Just overheard my parents and they said we'll either be getting Dish Network or Comcast soon. I hate Dish but it's cheaper than DirecTV. And Comcast is OK since we get an Intellistar. I pay 71 dollars for DirecTV bills monthly while in Dish it averages 39.99 and in Comcast $53.99

If your paying that much for DirecTV something is seriously wrong. I have never seen DirecTV cost more than cable.

DirecTV more money than Comcast? That can't be true. We're spending at least $150-$250 for Comcast cable and internet monthly. Get Dish if DirecTV is too much for you. At least you will still have narration-less LF's!

I don't get it. Even if he pays for both TV and internet, don't DirecTV subscribers have to do the same? IMO, if you add the cost of DirecTV with that of whatever internet you have, you'll come out to alot less than you would if you got cable and internet through the cable company.

That's not good. You've got to be paying $50 a month or more to get Comcast internet without TV service. It'd be much more economical to go with DSL.

I have Verizon DSL service. But seriously, 4NWN and me both pay 71 bucks and it WAY more expensive then comcast. I'm waiting for Verizon Fios to come. Other than that it's strong that we may get Dish Network.
