National chains are all you see here in the Marlton area. There are also four malls (Burlington, Cherry Hill, Echelon, Moorestown) that are no more than about 30 minutes from here. We are spoiled as far as shops are concerned.

You have THAT many malls nearby? Cool

I see Bill made his first public post, oddly between me and Gary

I dont like Radio Shack. I just dont know what they sell!!
Radio Shack is nice for hardcore electronics buffs and hobbyists, but for general electronics, they seem a bit overpriced.

No, not at all. They are geared toward enthusiasts and hobbyists like Billy said. When I have to work on computers, I often go there to buy solder, and other little circuit board related odds and ends. I've also bought a scanner (radio scanner, that is) from there. Obviously, these are things that you can't walk into Best Buy and buy.

CompUSA is better for computers and computer accessories (they have a bigger selection). They have gone downhill though.

More like for transistors, capacitors, diodes, and other small electronic parts of the like.

I once had to buy a USB cable from there, in an emergency, and it costed over $30.
