Windsor is a nice place, certainly more friendly than Detroit.  The biggest attraction though is probably Casino Windsor which you'll probably have little interest in.  Windsor also has some parks that are nice.

No, they do not have The Weather Channel in Windsor, how ever they do have The Weather Network. If you come up during severe weather, you might see some of my stuff on air! :P

My dad went to Windsor once back in 2004 as a business trip. The view to Detroit from the hotel he stayed at was beautiful.
