OMG! :o One of three things is happening here: either there's missing data, over half of the weather stations in the US have been destroyed, or the US has been reduced to only some cities.

Hopefully, it's the first explanation. :P

I checked the METARs out of some cities they usually have on that map, and those reports are coming in just fine, so it's probably a problem on TWC's end.
TWC doesn't use METAR reports, but rather their own through HiRAD, so it wouldn't matter anyways if the METARs were the cause.

If the part about the US being only reduced to only a few cities is right, it's the end of the world as we know it.

we all know that didn't happen

If it did, at least my hometown survived.  :P

Oh great, they said we'll get snow last night, nothing happened. Now they are saying 2-4" for tomorrow, but it's going to change to rain. Seems like we can't get an all snow event like last year, well we didn't last year either. :snow:

Long Island, August-September 2012 tornadoes, Hurricane Sandy, Blizzard of 2013, how many places on Earth do you know can get all 3 of those events within a 6 month period?

You didn't last year? I thought there were quite a few?

I just got back from dinner and voting in the primary this evening. Phone calls have finally stopped. It's amazing how soon they called the winner of that thing.

According to a family spokesperson and Joe's son, he is still alive but in critical condition...

For those of you with an iPad 2: do not jailbreak. The jailbreak is so buggy and unstable that my iPad was slower than a snail crawling in the rain. It crashed 6 times within the first 2 minutes. Immediate restore in progress as of this moment.

Heh, my dad's laptop has After Effects and Premiere Elements installed on it. Which one would be more suitable for emulations? I don't think the After Effects is a full version but I didn't see the program asking for a reg #

After Effects is an animation program. Premiere is a video editing program. So what do you think is suitable for emulations? ;)

I dunno

Though I don't have either, I think Zach means After Effects is a better program to make emulations with.  For example, when you see Tyler make his emulations, he normally states that he has used After Effects to make them.

What I want to know is how you all can afford it.  It's over $500!

I create my animations for school on After Effects. I don't use it for videos because I haven't mastered it yet, but when I do, I will. After Effects for emulators.

Andy is correct. It would be Adobe After Effects. However, don't feel so ambitious right away to use it. It took me a long while to know how to use Adobe After Effects in the fashion of which I chose to use it, and believe me, I am still learning. Also, if you're considering creating emulations the way that me, Chazz, Derek, Tyler, etc create them, you're gonna need to know how to use Photoshop beyond how a novice user uses it.
