Hey guys, have a curious question -

Do you guys ever feel worried or concerned when you're traveling on a bridge? I get goosebumps every time I commute from New York, mainly because I'm on the George Washington Bridge and I always think about the "what if.." scenario if something happened while I was on the bridge. Ya know, the mighty Hudson River and a 300+ foot tall bridge is the only thing that separates each other and it does worry you in a way..

I know we're coming from—I get a little worried when going on bridges too.

While driving, no. If I was walking, then yes. I guess it's safe to say I have a fear of heights because I can't seem to lean on the rail of a bridge or platform without feeling an extremely tight feeling in my stomach.

Getting stuck in traffic while on the GWB is the absolute worst. I can't even think about walking on a bridge like that. Then again they don't allow pedestrian crossings so it can't be that bad

Ironically, that is the only bridge that's ever made me nervous, and it does every time!

Everytime I get on the bridge going over the Pensacola Bay (the 3mi bridge).

I'm very disappointed and pissed off with EA Games. Battlefield 3 was a MAJOR disappointment and I am going back to Battlefield: Bad Company 2. If it weren't for my piece of crap external harddrive, I'd be on there right now.

Some of you guys, if you were paying attention, may have gotten a rare opportunity to see the Northern Lights last night. They were reported as far south as Oklahoma City, Little Rock, and even Atlanta. Anyone see them?

They forgot me. I saw them as far south as Ozark, AL. We're around 40mi from the FLALB (Florida Alabama Boarder). Very very faint red hue.

I missed it as well.   Someone in my area also reported seeing the colors of the Aurora Borealis.

What do you mean the NE always misses out on these things? You probably have a better chance of seeing it than those further south.

According to Paul's little explanation on weather.com, last night was not the only night to see the Aurora Borealis; supposedly the lights' far stretch south was going to continue for awhile. But it's a clear night tonight, and I don't see anything. Maybe I am too far south.

I'm hoping we get some snow again this year. For the past two to three years, we have been seeing snow. First year we saw a light dusting, second year was the "Southeastern Blizzard" or "Alabama Blizzard," then last year we saw general snow amounts about 6in per day for about two days.
