Just an FYI, but I will probably start gaining interest in TWC again now that I can record clips again! :shades:

Glad to hear it :)

Well, it's been a year now since my original account on youtube (that I began posting clips in) was suspended. My first (veteran) videos, that were lucky enough not to be pulled, are now a year old :P

Love the new logo!

Awesome work Andy! Out of curiosity, where do you get the images you use in your creations (like the hearts and the snowflakes and trees you used in your Christmas one)? Do you make them?

I'm noticing that some of NBC's graphics for this Olympics are very similar to TWC's...especially the HD STAR's.

Does anyone know how to enable the classic logon theme on Vista (where it just shows a plain window to enter the username/password), as well as enabling the Ctrl-Alt-Delete logon requirement?

I don't think that's possible.

Start -> Run -> type "control userpasswords2" (without quotes) in the box -> click OK -> Advanced Tab -> Secure Logon -> check "Require users to press Ctrl + Alt + Delete" -> Click OK.

Hey...I'm trying to redeem an iTunes Gift Card and it says that my network connection is timing out even though it's fine on Apple's website and my iPod is letting me download apps. Is this happening to anyone else? I managed to get to the Redeem page and type in my code, but it just won't let me redeem.

So, I just hooked the cable box that is attached to my TV up to my desktop's TV tuner (which is an HD TV tuner), and with a scrambled video signal, I was able to pick up great audio. Would I still have to pay $10 a month for an HD receiver when I already pick up the channel?

Did you try redeeming your card at a different time of the day?  They may have a server specifically handling those gift card requests that was swamped when you tried it out.

I'm not sure if you would get that audio if you stop paying the $10.  I'd ask your cable company that question.  A few others here who work with tuners could possibly help you.

The TV tuner is not the issue... my desktop's TV tuner is great, and I got a steal for it. I use it to get all my high quality TWC clips, record DVDs onto my computer, and it also works great with HD signals. I just don't understand why I would have to add $10 onto our monthly bill when I can at least hear the audio already (I may have not mentioned I don't have HD service yet).

Try it out for a long while just like you have it to see how it works.  If it eventually doesn't work, then you know that you need to get the HD service.  Experimentation is a great thing.
