For today: Cloudy with snow showers becoming a steady light snow later. Cold. High 38F. Winds N at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 70%. A slushy accumulation of less than one inch. -weather.com
And they say it never snows in Texas!

I heard on the news that it was supposed to snow down near Houston today! And of course, a lot of cities in the panhandle have already received a lot of snow.

We got our first snowfall this past Wednesday. Unfortunately, the accumulation was only a "trace" but seeing those flakes was still a neat treat. :D

So yes, it can snow in Texas. :P

I see Mike got a Winter Weather Advisory for both counties, and Patrick's Winter Weather Advisory was upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning. I continue to fall further behind.......

On the other hand, this sounds encouraging:

Bring it down here too, the current storm over the east coast completely screwed me over big time last night, most of the snow evaporated and dryed up by the time it got into North Georgia (except for the mountains like Blairsville where Jeff Morrow is) :hmm:
Oh well, that was my intial expectations all week, I just got sucked into the excitement of it all at the last minute.

I love snow, but I hate ice. Can't stand ice from these storms.

Ice storms SUCK! Especially when you start out as snow and it changes to sleet and freezing rain and all that good moisture is being wasted on sleet and freezing rain while we could be getting snow falling at 3 inches per hour..

I hate ice. When we get snow it melts during the day and then we can end up having black ice every morning for several days.

I couldn't get my car out of the street once because the tires were stuck in ice.
