So just out of curiosity, when is the main time frame for severe weather? Is it late-May into early-June?

May is usually the highest between April and June.

Here in the Ozarks it's normally April to July and (this is crazy) around the holiday season for the peak.

In the Southeast, we have 2 Severe Weather seasons in the Fall and Spring, I guess because their transition seasons so the hot and cold air masses battle it out the most often then, but it can be rough during any month even in January while a week later there could be snow or icestorm to follow.

I would love a chance to live in a place where I can see a tornado. The excitement I get that comes with scary weather like tornadoes is one of the best feelings in the world IMO.

My opinion too, I agree with that. I have come close to seeing a tornado, back in May '05, and believe me, I will never forget it!

TODAY IS MY LAST DAY!!!! 

Plus...I just sold my books to the bookstore, two of them couldnt get bought back because of VERY MINOR DAMAGE (little scribbling) <--wtf? So, instead of getting about $150 back I got $80. But I'm still happy tho, at least I got SOME money back.

I'm also thinking of attending a class just for the heck of it. Besides softball, I need to do something else this summer...hmm...a month vacation to swineflulandia???

Duck Centro was nice yesterday...it was in the 80's with breezy conditions. Ideal for Anistorm! 
but and yet...its gonna go up pretty soon...temps in the 100s plus...

Lucky. Here, our temps can drop 30+ degrees in 30 minutes.

True story, check last year's data for West Plains, MO. And I knew I shoulda brought a hoodie that day.

Nah, I think Michigan holds that partcular honor. I must admit that HiRAD would be necessary here due to lots of local demographics, if only it were a legit piece of technolicrap. The lakes make for some interesting weather here, at least if you live close enough to them.

I only experienced 100+ degree temps once in August 2006 when I was actually in Imperial County, CA (Yes Ana, I drove by Duck Centro on I-8 while on my way to the L.A. area) and it wasn't all that bad. Our Uplander (which we no longer have) said it was 107 when we stopped at a rest stop just past Yuma, and then I saw my first deserts ever!

Me neither. I always get 100 degrees in my area. I hate my area's weather escipally last June's (all days were above 99F degrees during that month and only 16 inches of rain).

I remember August 2006 was the hottest August in my record. 2007 reached 121 degrees when I was a senior at Brawley High. Since now the temps are pretty much cooler than expected...I expect this summer to be cooler than average.
