My Fall Semester starts August 24, 2009 and ends December 12, 2009. That fall semester I may take more than 4 classes because I want to speed up my time. And besides...I'm a sophomore!

Just curious phw115wx...lol...I will just call you that till I figure out your name but what school did you went to for grad school? Because I'm really interested in schools that have a speciality in understanding the ingredients for severe weather. Someone referred me to U of OK because it's great in that. I have also heard Penn State, U of Kansas. But U of OK has a 20,000 stipend which is one other thing that is attracting me to this school.

I went to Penn State University for undergrad and the University at Albany for grad school.  Rod, the University of Oklahoma is definitely the top choice if you like thunderstorms and tornadoes, so I'd urge you to apply there.

Yes I do but more importantly it has a 20,000 stipend and it's slightly more competitive which is why Im trying to work hard to get into that school. I have some contacts but I need to get an internship by this year once IM done with GREs.

However, the University at Albany is your only choice if you want to follow in Ray Stagich's footsteps.

You guys that get out around now, when do you start school?

Normally, we would have started in mid-August, but this year they never considered the probability that we'd have an ice storm when they decided to start in late August.

Normal start date is around August 16...we normally get out around May 18.

so, i have 3 1/2 days left in high school...and next week, before graduation on june 4th...i find out, who my roommate(s) (pending my housing app outcome) will be. could have up to 3 (excluding myself) roommates, which i think would be awesome -- the hall i'm applying for has huge apartment like rooms, but their not apartments. if that makes sense. haha.

i'm definitely stoked.
