Yeah. So at this point its either going to be that, or perhaps I'll take up meteorology (though I hear that it's very mathmetics intense, and I've always struggled with math).
You know, it's the only job where you get paid wrather your right or wrong.. :)

LOL, yeah, you can't beat that! :D

That has happened many times. I feel lonely and actually to confess, scared, when I'm the only one to be in the forum.

I'm never good at math. I hope I don't fail algebra, though. Takes away my high school credits. :o

Math is my worst subject. I sure wish I hadn't screwed up in the early elementary school years, cause it really came back to
bite me in the ass :(

I advise you all to stay in school  I think Illinois has a new thing where if you drop out of school, you can't get a driver's license.
I think they are doing that so kids will not want to drop ot of school, cause lets face it, everyone wants a drivers license.

See that kind of law makes no sense. In this state there are other ways of getting your diploma if you choose to drop out, so passing such a law here would make no sense.

Thunder, failing a class doesn't cause you to LOOSE credits, You just don't earn one for algebra until you pass it.  8)

You don't get it. Of course there are other ways of getting a diploma. They are passing that law to make kids stay in school.

But thats stupid. Maybe if they just stopped offering alternative means of getting a diploma?

I disagree totally with that law. Some people have damn good reasons for dropping out. My mother, for example, who had always been an honors student, dropped out because they were going to fail her because she had just moved and her old school lost her records. Not very fair to her, and she was completley justified in dropping out. I'm another good example of someone who dropped out for a good reason. I had failed a couple of classes and being on the schedule that I was on I would not have been able to get credit for those classes in time to pass with my class. I was not about to graduate unless it was with my own class.

So Gil, you are 13 years old, and you are clueless when it comes to life. Take your snide remarks somewhere else.
