I mean, its not that I personally have any problems with the ordinary, but people will get board if all I keep putting on the site is plain, ordinary, boring stuff. That's not to say that I can't throw some in with an update, just that an update can't consist solely of that kind of stuff.  8)

That's exactly my point. If you can wait 3 weeks or so, I'd gladly contribute more "interesting" stuff.
