Cool. I noticed that the application fails to load when I don't have the tuner plugged in.

Correct. You can't do much with the WinTV app. if there's no tuner plugged in.

Billy, i also need your help with a few other things:

Do you use the antenna? How many channels does the antenna signal for?

I want to use the antenna and see if comcast's channels will be scanned.

And for the antenna, does it need to be raised or can i leave the antenna's height the way it is? I'm using the antenna to see if the tuner can scan and carry TWC on cable.

1. Occasionally. I get about three channels OTA, but that's because I'm in the middle of nowhere.

2. No, you're not going to get any cable channels with an antenna, so don't even try. It's not going to work.

3. Sure, raise it, it may increase the number of OTA channels you can pick up.

So how do you get your cable channels? Do you hook the tuner to the cable box?

My old digital camera broke, so today, my parents bought me a new one (because it couldn't be repaired)!

I'm also going on a school field trip to New Orleans tomorrow, so I'll definitely make good use of my new camera! B)

Well, I got my ACT scores back.  I am very pleased with what I got, but not 100% greatful of it.  I will re-take it June 14th, for either $45 or $75 dollars (whichever it costs, I forgot).  But, I did get above average..so that's good i guess.

Last Monday was my science/biology exam. I only knew like three answers on it, so there's no doubt I failed it. These exams are new this year, so they'll likely not get this year's sophomores (or whoever is taking biology) credit for it.

I've got all A's so far this marking period except an 87% in math. Even my English grade (which is usually the lowest out of all grades) is an A right now.

Yeah, or directly from the wall jack. Did you actually think you could get cable channels over the air?
