Yes, speed is total difference. We are very far from the central office or whatever, so it woul dbe pretty slow. with cable,it doesnt matter where you are.

Unfortunately Gil, we can't control where you live, and its not fair that you bash DSL based on your situation. Most folks live within a reasonable distance form their CO. The only time distance is usually a factor is when your in a rural area.
