I would definitley get in touch with your ISP then. It should NOT be doing that. There could be a problem with the wiring in your house or something. Or there may be some kind of interference.

That's what my mom has done, and yesterday, she called, and they said they were fixing a power outage in the area, and they told her what we needed to do (with the router and the computers) to fix it. Of course, we did that, and it didn't work. :rolleyes:

Well, my internet right now has been working good for the past 5-10 minutes. If it continues going down I'm sure my mom will call. I wish this gets fixed soon because I'm getting  :censored: off about this. >:(

They probably told you to do something like power cycle the modem and/or router right? The problem your having won't ever be solved by doing things like that. You've got to tell them that they NEED to send someone out IMMEDIATELY because you've taken all the troubleshooting steps you possibly can and the problem isn't stopping.

No, what they told us to do is to power down the modem, shut down all of the computers for 10 minutes, turn the computers back on again, then after they're on power back on the modem. Right now it appears my internet is working good, and *hopefully* it stays that way. :)
