Hey everyone, good to see some of yous around. I still check these boards every now and then, but like most of us from our time, my interest in TWC has faded over the years, combined with being busy IRL (graduated from college, working full time, etc).

I still poke around here (I even updated my artwork thread a couple weeks ago), but as Mike said, those of us who had a vested interest in TWC lost most, if not all of it years ago for various reasons. Personally, I'm too busy to pretend to give a crap about what they do nowadays, especially since I'm going to college now. There is simply too much for me to concern myself with, and all of it is much more important than what some cable network does.

I don't even think I've watched more than an hour's worth of TWC this year, and I haven't watched it at all these last few months since I once again dropped my cable provider. WeatherNation has replaced TWC as my source of background noise, and the severe weather, hurricane, and winter weather coverage that they provide is damn near close to old-school TWC standards, IMO. For those rare times that I'm on a nostalgia kick, I'll just cast the Weatherscan emulator or the 4000 sim to my TV.

Once I dropped cable, I never looked back. They offer Xfinity (I think) at my university for free, but I am *not* dealing with them ever again. Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, and all of the other apps on my Roku give me more content than what cable ever did, and I'm not being gouged for it.

I lurk around, but haven't posted here since last year? Don't remember. I haven't watched any TWC live coverage since I think Hurricane Irma two years ago. Whatever hurricane Mike Bettes was in Naples, FL that was the last time I saw TWC live from a livestream on Youtube. It will be five years this November since I've watched TWC on a daily basis or had cable. Any tv watching I do now I do it on Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and Netflix. I had a change of heart and reuploaded my TWC fan art (STAR emulations)back on Youtube, but I'm not reuploading the recorded LFs with a couple exceptions. I would donate them all here if that was ok. In between working a warehouse job I'm focused on rebooting my gaming Youtube Channel by the beginning of the new year. I'm saving up to get a new and better PC or iMac. The one I have now just can't handle video editing/rendering well.

I don't even remember the last time I even watched TWC. I think I was at a hotel, a couple of Sundays ago. Even that time was brief, and I don't remember the last time I watched it here at home. I never watch for hurricane coverage, due to their tendency to overhype and over dramatize them. I'll never forget the video of two people walking in a normal manner last year, as Mike Seidel went out of his way to pretend it was all he could do to stand up since the wind was so "strong".

I still watch The Weather Channel every day just because I get this type of feeling when I watch it and that I have some additional background noise.

It used to be so that I lurked here often in its heyday, never offering what I had to say. But it's nice to see the forums seeing some sort of activity, even if like this.

Indeed, I watch TWC from time to time during its live national programming, but certainly not as much as I used to.

What a great time to be a Nintendo/Mario fan! I'm showing this to my niece and nephew later today. They're gonna freakin' lose it especially my 6yr old nephew, he's a hardcore Mario fan/gamer. He loves to play all of the Super Mario Bros games from the original on the NES all the way to the modern Mario games on his Switch. I don't know if any other kid or adult for that matter can outmatch him in his love for this mascot or company.

I tune into TWC every day, but 99.9999999% of the time, it is nothing more than background noise; and the constant pushing of the climate change thing is becoming insufferable.
