Updated.

Also, are you sure that STAR #22525 is Nashville?   According to the video below, the city name on the LDL is Franklin.

It's in the immediate Nashville area, and I can't find any videos of a Nashville STAR. Maybe Franklin/Nashville.

Lottery fever strikes again as the Powerball skyrockets to 550 600 million dollars! The second highest in history. The Mega Millions is inching closer to 200 million.

Nothing like having thousands of microscopic plastic/metal shards in your hands, and I can't even get them out. Ouch  :(

Long Island, August-September 2012 tornadoes, Hurricane Sandy, Blizzard of 2013, how many places on Earth do you know can get all 3 of those events within a 6 month period?

Yikes!  What happened?  Hope that can be treated soon and that you feel better.

I must have gotten it from a plastic stick that I was holding. The stick was disintegrating so microscopic plastic fibers were getting stuck in my skin. After hours of different procedures of trying to remove them, I just decided to use tweezers to pull them out. Problem is, you wouldn't even be able to see them. I used a cotton fabric to rub my hand against, so the plastic fibers would get caught on the cotton and cause a sudden sharp pain for me to sense where the fiber was. From there, I put my perpendicular to a light source and looked at my hand to see a side view, that way I was able to see the plastic fibers in my hand, then use the tweezers to prick them out. Took me a couple of hours and I still have a few left in me.

I got an email message from Aaron recently and he said that Zoomshare (the website's host provider) was getting rid of the free service and charge users $6.95 a month. Since I've submitted most units to his website, he offered me to maintain the database via a different free website host provider, which I accepted almost immediately. Here is the new version of the database that I've put together using the submissions that I've backed up from Aaron's site a while back:

http://weatherstardatabase.yolasite.com/

My site's pretty much the same as the original, but this one now includes info for 4000, XL, IS2 and Weatherscan units. I'm still working on the site at the moment, but I figured I'd post the link to show you guys what I've worked on so far.

Hey Jim, just wanted to let you know that #22622 isn't New Bedford, RI its actually New Bedford, MA

All fixed, Alex   I just copied all of the submissions from Aaron's site and put them all on the new one without even realizing that New Bedford is in Massachusetts and not Rhode Island! If you find any other errors in the database, let me know. Thanks again for the correction.

On the IS list, 22207 is for Marietta, GA not Atlanta.

That sounds awful :(, it sounds painful just reading about it. Hopefully you'll be able to get the remaining ones out very soon.

Well Tavores, I see two errors in that article.  The hurricane obviously (WTF?! :P ) but also the fact that the title is "Severe Kansas tornado prompts stark National Weather Service warning" when they are talking about Oklahoma City.  Maybe they are talking about Kansas later on in that article, but someone clearly didn't proofread.

Didn't even think about the article title being a FAIL in a way also. This Chris guy mentions Wichita starting in the next paragraph, but the article overall is really broad basically talking about all the Midwest states affected including OK and NE.

Btw, the comments below the article are just as entertaining. I don't think the hurricane gaffe passed by anyone who read this article.
