I'm glad I didn't post in there last night either.
I've been working on my weather station lately. The current place where it is right now is the best spot where it could be. Unfortunately, the early morning summer sun shines on my thermo-hydrometer. I would typically see large spikes in temperature and humidity between 6:27 - 7:28AM. So to prevent this, I simply put a piece of cardboard with one side being white, I put the white side towards the sun, and I put the cardboard on the unit. Well, this morning with clear skies, it worked, but temperatures were higher by about 1.5°F, an improvement from before, but still inaccurate. I have the cardboard on the thermo-hydrometer. Maybe if I set the cardboard a few inches off of the unit, there might be less of a spike in temperature.
