Just went on to Wunderground, there's an Invest!

Invest 91...

Considering where it is, it's pretty far north for this time of the season, due to the warm SST's; I guess it's possible an Invest can form there. And the movement of this storm is awkward. Moving WSW at 14mph, strange pattern isn't it?
IF it developed I'm sure it would be subtropical

This may have been mentioned a bunch of times before on here, but has anyone seen The Onion's report on TWC having a pro-weather bias?

I think the folks at NBC/TWC thought that The Onion was real and took it to heart. ROFLCOPTER.

Well, I've made it through working 10 shifts in the past 11 days, but I still have 6 more in a row to make it 16 shifts out of 17 days before I have a couple days off just to breathe.  I think you can tell that I'm really stressed out lately. :hmm:

I know that feeling  :hmm: I've had periods my senior year this year where I'd work 7 to 8 days in a row and they'd be shifts where I would have to work from 4 to 10 in the evening on school nights. But the great thing about it is that you get really fat paychecks :D

Two of my shifts are overtime to help cover for someone who had to be away for good reasons, so I'm definitely looking forward to being done.

Well, I just reached 3,000 posts on this forum.  I want to thank you all for your continuing support and friendship here.  I hope that I've done well enough over the past 3 years with everything to serve you, but I'll gladly take comments or suggestions via PMs if I can make it better.  Sorry that I'm not in a happier mood to celebrate due to what I've described above.

I can't completely understand your situation, as I've never been in your shoes, but I can see how difficult it is. We're all pulling for you on this.

On the other hand...after 75 days, I am pleased to say that I am finally, and happily, back on U.S. soil.  :thrilled:

Coming home from school, I found that I now have Xfinity. This is the first time I've had it at my house in almost 4 years.

Your parents didnt tell you?! If we switched from DirecTV my parents would at least let me know the instant they ordered the new providers service

Yep, i had no idea till I came home. What still boggles is why they ordered an HD receiver, when it's not even hooked up to an HDTV.

Maybe Comcast offered it to them at no additional cost to that of an SD receiver.. well at least you can enjoy seeing local forecasts now and have the HD feed for narationless music

Tomorrow will be in the upper 70s, humid, and a chance of tstorms for the Jersey Sjore. The forecast seems more promising unlike last week, too so hopefully I'll get to see some good storms roll in

FL/Gulf Coast is gonna rob most of the drought busting moisture for our storms tomorrow according to the models and I'm obviously NOT happy about it.

Most of not all of Comcast's newest receivers are HD ones nowadays, unless you're in an area that still uses old equipment.. They don't charge extra for them anymore in most areas.

It's the opposite here, they still issue out old boxes and they charge for HD service if you have a HD receivers.

I get that, I want you to get your fair share too, but if the main low travels too far south into GOM, it most times acts as a brick wall because all the heavy rain/storms build up along the Gulf Coast/ FL Panhandle preventing anything from coming north. At least if it traveled further inland, we both would get our fair share. In either case you win out while we win one way and get screwed on the other.  :P
