Ugh. I can guarantee you this will be the last post I make for at least a week before I either get to Sydney or the United States. One of the two. I'm in the outback, and it's miserable hot. It's the exact same climate as Phoenix.
With one major problem - the Australian government doesn't do weather forecasts for this part of the country, because 90% of the country's population lives on the coastline, and about that's about 18 million people. The other two million are spread out across an area equal to that of Nevada to the East Coast. There's satellite and radar support, and that's it. Forecast for the next 20 days: hot and sunny, occasional flash flood.
I'm actually starting to get homesick.
Sixteen more days and I'll be relaxing in San Francisco.
