Is anyone else dealing with all of this rain? I swear I don't think I have had a full day of sun in weeks!

No, but could you send it down here to me please?  :innocent: We need every drop we can get.

Not as much as TX and OK. How much of a drought is Atlanta in? I notice where they (as well as most of the state of GA) are "excessively dry" on the weather.com drought monitor.

As far as the rain in the southern plains, both TX and OK have seen some rain within the past week. But we obviously need a whole heck of a lot more to be anywhere close to escaping the drought. :(

I'm jealous, although we got some rain a few days ago. Forecast for the week here is 70s and clear skies for at least the next seven days. Although I like my clouds and rain, I guess I can't complain. :P

It was dry down here in the Bay Area for quite a while, but 2 out of the last 3 days, there were some good downpours. This afternoon, the weather was flat out nasty with heavy rain, vivid lighting and high winds!

Frank Mitchell: Jetsons?
Hakeem: Yeah, you and George got the same haircut.

Very clever, but I can still read your remark in the strikeout. :P Were about 8 inches behind in rainfall, Going by the drought monitor, our state is still has the worst drought east of the Miss., but you are right on the US drought monitor, TX/OK look burnt in all of that dark burgundy color.

So long, summer 2011! :salute: It'll be hard to forget you...

Looks like it's about time to pack up my things and move from the Front Porch back into the Pot Belly Stove for the start of fall (right as the temperatures started getting so nice...)

Congratulations, everyone, on making another 100 pages of this popular thread! We should be in the 1000s by next year! :thrilled:

I'll see everyone back here on March 20, 2012.

Hope you all had fun on the porch!  Summer is about to end now, so we'll see you all here next spring at the date Andy said above.

What a terrible winter for snow lovers geez..  Though, after having two winters in a row with above average winter weather, we were kinda due for a winter like this. I thought the winter of 2007-2008 was going to be a year with little snow for us here in Cincinnati until we got it all made up with a blizzard in march lol.. I was hoping for the same thing this winter, but I guess not lol.  :P
