Stomach bugs...certainly not fun. I really hope you don't get that.

I know I've already done this before, but I'm taking another break from this place. To be honest, my interest in TWC is almost dwindling by the day, and I am a lot busier than I used to be. I may pop in every now and then, and I'm very grateful for all the friends I've made here. I hope this place continues to prosper, and I hope that people around that are so fond of TWC will accept their changes. To be honest, I do not really care what they do anymore. It's just a channel on my TV, nothing more.

See you guys!

I'm going to go ahead and announce this now.
I have recorded several LF's this morning and will try to record a few 4000 videos, but these recordings will be my final LF videos for a good while, or even for good. They will be posted at my artwork and creation topic.

As Christina said above, it is just a channel on my TV and nothing more to me as well. I'm not taking a break from TWCT (yet), but this is it for my LF's.

Yeah, what TWC decides to do really is not that important to me. I'll still tune in to the LFs as long as there's still LFs, cause who knows if the LOT8s will be ultimately done away with.

It's sad that some of you are leaving these forums, just because of the declining state of TWC. I know this is a Weather Channel enthusiast forum, but I personally have made so many friends here and have had a good time talking about things non-TWC related that I wouldn't even think about leaving. :)

But it's certainly your choice. We will miss those of you who will be leaving...

Second week of school and there is already a stomach bug going around.
Ugh same here. Monday my stomach felt horrible. It actually was the worst stomach pain I ever had. Almost went to the ER. Hope you stay well!

I agree completely Andy! The forum has grown to be a close family!

Yeah, I stopped watching TWC months ago, but I'm still here because of the friends I've made here. There's not really anything that's gonna pull me away from the forums. I strongly recommend you re-consider before you decide to leave us. If so, we wish you the best.

Unlike some of you that say the music and the LF is what drew you to TWC, it was the way they presented live programming like they do with hurricanes, severe weather, and winter storms 11 years ago that interested me the most. You could tell the OCMs and the experts qualified in each severe weather field was invested in what they do on a daily basis and really cared about informing those that needed to be safe in dangerous weather. Eventhough a lot has changed in these past 11 years, they still do this (severe weather wise not as extensively as they used to), but still they have done some remarkably great work, the snowstorms/blizzards across the SE/S. Plains/Mid Atlantic/ NE, April 27th Super Tornado Outbreak,  Joplin, MO tornado coverage, Hurricane Irene (over-hyped a bit, but I expected it). That's what drew me to TWC, I learned a lot of things about weather from this channel alone and also the graphics were appealing to me in the early 00's, I liked how they were simple, but the graphics of the LF and programming matched so well. As far as the music goes, it did open me up to new genres of music I would have never gave a second look to on my own so I do credit them with that also.

I do have to concur. TWC's coverage was excellent during both tornado outbreaks. They handled the situation in a professional, assuring and informative way during the April 27th outbreak. I was glued into that. Dr. Greg Forbes is irreplaceable, IMO. It's his discussions during these severe weather outbreaks that keep me glued into watching TWC during such events.

Fall is coming pretty quickly around the corner. Official autumnal equinox is Friday, September 23rd, at 9:04 Zulu. Then again, that doesn't exactly mean much temperature wise for some of you.  :bleh:

My birthday is September 24 at 12:36am  B)
That's good, because I was surely a fall-baby, hence why I love it so much!

I'm deciding between buying a Mac Mini and a Kindle. I have six book reports due this year and the fact that you can buy USA Today on the Kindle. I also have some major editing stuff I need to do, however, the Mini I'm looking at only has 1gb/memory. Yeah, I can upgrade it, but I already have 4gb on my Acer. Works perfect with After Effects.

Wait, does the stove open this Friday or when winter starts?
