These things can be learned and gotten used to.

How many courses are you taking?  What's your schedule like?  If nothing else, expect to do a lot more studying after classes than in high school.

There are a lot of things you can do to help make this easier.  For example, just as you have a course schedule, you can make a study schedule and work out how much time you'll need, and specifically when, to get all of your homework and studying done.  Read and reread your textbook.  Not only should you review your book and class notes after every lesson, but you should also read ahead by at least one lesson so that you'll know what to expect when the teacher discusses it, and it won't all be new to you.  Otherwise, without knowledge of what's coming up next, each class will be something entirely new, and it will be harder to "make the pieces fit" as you assimilate all the new information.

If you are really having trouble, why don't you just withdraw from those classes you're really having problems in and just take those classes next semester? so you don't have a huge workload and high stress level to deal with.

The classes I'm having problems with are required :/ I'm taking 6 classes and 16 credits but one of them isn't really a class, it's just a first year interest group

Al Gore needs to go sit on the polar ice caps and see if they really are melting or not. And stay there.

According to a recent report from less than a week ago, polar ice levels are at near record-low levels, comparing only to 2007, which had even less ice.

Al Gore drives me crazy as well, but regarding the ice caps, they are getting smaller and smaller.

Well, that would be one way to determine it! :rofl2:

Also, to Alex: Your current conditions for Gorham, NH at 12:05 ET are showing blowing snow and a very chilly 25 degrees. Are those observations correct?

Wow.  According to TWC and Accu-Weather, the weather for Gorham, NH is cloudy and 48°.  However, the NWS uses Mount Washington as its nearest observation location for Gorham, and on Mount Washington, it is, indeed, 25° with blowing snow and winds of 60 mph!

Edit: I just remembered that the XL, during the brief time the Boston area had it and the even briefer time it worked (it was a lemon and notorious for breaking down; our cable company very often switched to the Worcester Star while the Boston one got rebooted), that was the only time my area got to see conditions on Mount Washington on the "Latest Observations" page.

if you put your location as mount washington nh on the forums you get north conway nh's conditions (since its the closest obs site other than the mountain obs) which is why Gorham gets mount washington's obs (lowest part of the mountain.) I know my wording might seem confusing but this the best way to describe it by cell phone.
