Well, the surgery is over. It felt surprisingly quick, thanks to the anesthesia. I'm icing my cheeks while watching The Price is Right. The bleeding is really gross, but I hope that goes away soon, So far, not as bad as I thought.

Wow, hope you get well soon.  :hmm:

Frank Mitchell: Jetsons?
Hakeem: Yeah, you and George got the same haircut.

Hey, thank you! It's really not that bad at all. People who say the surgery is really bad probably end up getting a very painful condition called dry sockets, which happen if you drink through straws or eat hard foods too soon. It was definitely worth it to save my straight teeth in the future from becoming crowded. Just happened a later for me, as I'm in my 20's.

Isn't that a little late to get your wisdom teeth pulled out?

I'm 21 and still have mine. Three came in just fine but one is on a slight slant and will probably have to come out soon.

Very--especially compared to most of my friends who got them out in high school. He thinks my plastic retainer was pushing on them so they didn't come out all the way like normal. He also said they weren't getting clean enough because they were so far back, so he did the honors and took them out for me. He probably tried to scare me so he could make some cash, but the deed has been done.

I didn't get mine out until last year, age 18. I think most people get them out age 15-16 after they go through orthodontics (which I am well overdue to get done).

CNET Top 5: Brownest Hybrids (2011)
The latest Top 5 video that I've found (so far)

CNET Top 5: Brownest Hybrids (2011)

I can't believe it's been nearly 6 months since I last posted here.

Anyway, I just wanted to stop by and say hey! I know I haven't been in here in forever, but numerous things so far this year have seriously kept me busy with life and I've had not so much free time for here. (Particularly with school work - but it's summer now so that's no longer an issue) Not to mention I've lost much of my interest in TWC in the past couple of years too, so that's part of the reason. :hmm:

I will try to come back here more often this summer, though - I certainly have no plans of staying MIA forever! :)
Nice to see you back here once again, Stephen!

I'm starting to become a little bit alarmed about myself... the last time I went to see the dentist, she told me that my teeth were "perfectly fine" and that I can come back in the next six months. She never told me anything about wisdom teeth. I assume I don't have any, but I could be wrong. Maybe I need to schedule a checkup once more just to be sure.

I feel too jittery tonight. I'm typing waaaaay too fast.

Ha-ha, it's really nothing to fret about. If your dentist didn't mention, it then you're probably fine. If you can handle laser eye surgery, getting wisdom teeth removed probably isn't any worse.

Congrats, Mike!  B) Good luck in the--I think better--world of college. So many more things to do, people to meet, and opportunities to seize.

Gosh, this must be a carzy dream..

So i was in a dream watching TWC and its storming at my house and Dr Forbes was covering the storms, however they had another data outage, so Dr Forbes couldnt continue, so he faded out. What happened afterwards was that a WPS-based system came up with graphics using the 05-08 titlebars displaying random maps.. it wasnt the emergency feed because it faded in and the song playing was "Night Drive" by Timothy Drury.. so then I went to my desktop to go to the IRC and see if anyone else saw it but i was too shaky and almost fainted.. I was saying "OMG" very frequently.. :rofl2:

About why the song was "Night Drive" by Timothy Drury, i had my computer volume up a little too high and played the music overnight.. and when I woke up after it, that was the song playing :P haha

The summer solstice will arrive on June 21 at 1:16 PM EDT, so the first day of summer is officially tomorrow. B)
I can already hear some of you thinking, "What are you talking about?  It's already been feeling like summer for weeks!" :P

Even though it's almost the first day of summer, I always get a little bit sad that the sun will be getting lower in the sky and that the days will be getting shorter from here till late December. I'm definitely a summer person, and I love the long days. Spring and summer are just so lively while fall and winter are symbols of death and sleep. Maybe I have Seasonal Affective Disorder...
