I know this is probably not an IS 2, and even if it was, I have no interest in buying it. But is that the real thing? Or just what the heck is that? I also thought this topic needed a bump.

1. I have seen this before. This is in no way related to TWC or the STARs. (AFAIK)
2. The IS2 has not been in use long enough for it to be sold.

IntelliStar is a common name... there have been several other equipment and such that used the same name (I think Billy found something with that name a few years back).

Ah, I see. I suppose if that were the real IS, it would have The Weather Channel logo on it somewhere. That sure was a deceiving name, though.

Just in case anyone was curious that is actually a hub for terminals to connect to an AS/400 mainframe. We used to have an AS/400 and client terminals at our office so I'm very familiar with those units.

Raised their bill...again....for the 2nd time this year. Now up to $108. Plus $66 for phone and internet via AT&T for a total of $174 right now. Comcast is giving us cable, internet, and phone for a total of $140. A very good deal.....
