I need to get my wisdom teeth removed, and I have a question... how long do you have to wait before you can start driving again after surgery? Do you think it would be safe to do so the next day?

I have to get mine taken out when I am 15.

I would think it would be alright after a day, but you'll need to ask the surgeons or nurses that question to be sure.

Trust me, you'll know.  I'd wait a day or two.

The next day you really should be fine! Though make sure you are used to the pain pills first. They make you a bit light headed at times.

Mike- as Patrick and Martin said, you should be fine after a day.  And trust me, that whole 24 hours, you are not going to really want to be doing anything

My consultation is on August 2nd, so I should be getting them removed within a few weeks after that.

Remember when Jesse and some of you were talking about job searching last month? Remember when I said I applied at McDonalds, even though I hated that place? I just got a call from them. And I have a job interview tomorrow @ 1. It's the one right across the street!!!!

Will do! Been 11 years since I've been to LA.. My uncle owns two boats and lives right on the beach. I so can't wait to go! lol

Good Luck Ana! I worked at McDonalds about 3 1/2 years ago. It's not as bad as it's made out to be. It's just crappy in the beginning before you get trained on how to do everything.

Not to change the subject, but it looks like FPB is shuffling up the channels in the 30s a bit if the board approves MSNBC. CNN and HLN would remain on 29-30, and CNBC on 31. MSNBC would go on 32, moving every other channel up one spot (TWC would be on 33) and Outdoor (36) would be moved to 76. And according to the board digest for Thursday's meeting, TWC HD may not be part of the first round of HD additions.
