I'm finally done with moving!  It took a lot longer than I thought, but I'm now all settled into my new apartment.  Hope all of you are doing well this weekend.

That's great! :D

Welcome back online Patrick :)

Oh wow! The temperature here went up by 10 degrees in just one hour, 12 to 1pm. It was around 80 degrees at 12, then went up to 90 at 1. Before noon, the winds were coming from the northeast, the warm front came and the winds shifted to southwest.

Thanks guys!  I'm really glad it's over as one of my family members had car trouble on moving day, which delayed everything.

Good to have you back. :) When you get the chance do you think you can give us some pics or video of your new local forecast?

I just put up a video for it now on my channel, but the quality is definitely not as good due to no HD here.

There isnt a local forecast on HD so it doesn't really matter.

Hard to believe it's been a year already. Today's the 1 year anniversary of Billy Mays.

Wow, whoever wrote the forecast synopsis at my NWS today has bad grammar :P

Quote
A cold front will cross the region late tonight. Ahead of the front. Showers and scattered strong thunderstorms are expected. Behind the front. Slightly cooler and gradually less humid conditions are expected Tuesday. Cooler and significantly less humid conditions are expected Tuesday night through the end of the week. Courtesy of high pressure building east from the midwest states. As the high gets offshore this weekend. Expect warmer and more humid conditions for the upcoming holIday weekend into early next week.

A tornado warning was issued just merely an hour after the same county and interstate (I-81) I traveled through today. This was Cuyoga county NY and I noticed the clouds were darkening and it was raining a bit, but who would've known a tornado warning/possible tornado would develop in the same exact area I just traveled through just an hour ago.

I can't sleep. Gotta love it when the a/c doesn't work and it's a sizzling night. <_<
Try sleeping in a tent outside! haha I am back from camping as most of you have already seen. I went down to Cape Hatteras for a few days with some friends. Boy was it hot. One night I just had to sleep in my car with the AC on once in a while. Still it was a lot of fun :)

Nice! I'm glad you had fun camping! I was up in canada for the weekend for a little family reunion and it wasn't bad..considering the scenic road trip. B)

The Outer Banks are nice, I was there back in 2003. It was hot when we were there though. Glad you had fun! :)

I must agree with both of you that the Outer Banks is a great place to visit when there's no hurricane around.  I've been through Kitty Hawk, Nags Head, and Cape Hatteras.  I even rode on a boat through Oregon Inlet for a fishing trip to the Gulf Stream years ago.  Yes, the water is pure blue and beautiful once you get out there.
