Does anyone know if the iPod touch will be available in 3G? I want to use it for my car to listen to streams which I couldn't do with a wifi connection.
Its called the iPhone :P
Yeah that's a problem - I have Verizon. :)

I wonder if I can get an iPhone and not have it activated so I can just use it as an ipod.

At that point, you might as well save quite a few bucks and get an iPod Touch.

TWCT was originally just a free hosted message board, which opened in early 2005, but the TWCT we know now didn't launch until June 2007. The site actually launched around early-mid June; this particular SMF forum just didn't open until the 25th (after we encountered an issue with the old Invision-esque forum).

And it's worth noting that the original forum wasn't called "TWC Today." It was just a TWC/weather-themed message board run by Gary. The "TWC Today" name didn't come into effect until after Matt said that he would stop all current content on TWC Classics.

Hmm... has anyone seen Microsoft's Kinect thing? I want that so bad! But, does anybody know if it will work with the older 360's? ("Older" meaning after the slim one that was just released). I have the Jasper motherboard in mine, which is the latest board out from Microsoft with 1 I/O port and 2 USB ports... so if someone knows if the the Kinect would work with mine, I would love to hear that :) Since I know we have some heavy videogamers here...

And also, sorry for the sudden topic change :P

I agree, the Kinect looks really cool! I definitely buying it when it comes out.

I also have an older 360, and from what I have read, it will work with all 360 models. The only difference is the new 360 has a port specifically for it, requiring no power cable. You will need a power adapter for the Kinect for older 360s.

You are the controller
Kinect brings games and entertainment to life in extraordinary new ways – no controller required. Easy to use and instantly fun, Kinect (formerly known as “Project Natal”) gets everyone off the couch.  Want to join a friend in the fun?  Simply jump in.  And the best part is Kinect works with every Xbox 360®

I'm kind of interested in it, I just don't know if I'm ready to fork over $150 for it when I can get the whole Wii console for $199. It'll really depend on the games available for it.

I'm finally done with moving!  It took a lot longer than I thought, but I'm now all settled into my new apartment.  Hope all of you are doing well this weekend.

The 360 Slim costs 299$ from Best Buy, and the Kinect bar costs 150$. thats over 450$ (Including tax). I'll just stick with my 360 Pro. Works like a charm still (despite the fact that I left it on over 48 hours once). Speaking of that, aren't they supposed to turn off after 4 hours with the Zepher motherboards and up? :dunno:

Great to hear that dude! :) And so far my weekend consisted of GTA IV... so I guess I was pretty occupied :bleh:
