You pump your parents' cars? Do your parents make you do everything? :P
Only my mom's car, lol. My dad doesn't seem to be comfortable with me doing it. Technically, it is illegal for me to pump gas. Every pump, alongside the warning about driving off without paying, says that you have to be of "license age" to pump gas. Technically I am since most sophomores can now drive, but I don't have my license either.
Guess they dont have that rule here. I pump gas for my Mom all the time. Its just an easy nice thing to do.

Dumbasses these days. A trash can was lit on fire today in the boy's restroom during the last period of the day at school It stunk up the hall too and boy I had a hard time breathing. Thank heavens I'm not asthmatic. :itsok:

Only two in the entire metro area here that are full serve. I never top off. When the gas pump clicks, I take it out. The last time I tried to top off, there was a small amount of extra gas sitting around the pipe that leads into the engine.

I don't even think we have ANY full-serve gas stations here anymore.

Hah, reminds me of my freshman year in high school. I've seen a lot of those all the time.

You know, I thought getting a dual-band router would be neat. I should be able to send and receive files simultaneously. Problem is, it doesn't work! I haven't been able to upload anything since I bought it.

Do you seriously think thats what a dual band router means? Dual band means it supports dual frequencies including the newer 5ghz band. This will only work with devices that are specially adapted to accept that. On ANY wifi band A/B/G/N you can send files both ways. In fact you can send hundreds of transfers both ways at the same time. Dual band routers should only be bought if you have devices capable of using it.

I don't see why it's that important to simultaneously send and receive files anyway for what you use the concept for.

I agree. For basic web functionality its pointless. Wireless routers only shine when used on a local network. The speed of your upload/download is dependent on your internet provider. In my case I have several weather, storage, and slave servers that shoot files and data around my network and I regularly stream HD video and tv shows.

I just thought it would be neat. According to what you are telling me, the store manager mislead me (not the best guy anyway). I'm not the MOST tech savvy, so I don't know what I'm supposed to have for our computers and the things I do with them (and the internet).

Without a doubt, I should be investing into a WinTV HD PVR soon!

Also, Martin, when I try to stream media, I get a URL error in WME.

It's the displayed URL and I know for a fact it has to be my firewall. :(

It usually is like that. First make sure your selected port is properly port forwarded then find out your IP address and your good to go. regardless of what the software says
