I apologize for intervening here, but anyone remember that crazy name to that Icelandic volcano? We were actually discussing it in Earth Science this morning. I thought I had an idea as to how to pronounce it, but I guess I was wrong
But anyhoodle (as a formal teacher from last year would say), here's a video that might help:

A local reporter here pronounced the name of the volcano verrrrrrry slowly. I should have gotten that on video.  but it sounded like he got it right!

Our first pop-up thunderstorm of the year came today!

Pop up scattered shower came out of nowhere today when i was playing basketball with my brothers.

Anyone with an iPod having issues synching on the new iTunes? Ever since I updated iTunes before I left for my hometown, all of the sudden I am unable to sync my oldies music or my apps in my iPod. So far the Apple forums aren't really helping me, but I wont give up googling for an answer.

Have you tried clicking on My Device < Music ? Checkmark "Sync Music" and do the same for Applications. There should be a box next to it that should let you check mark it on Itunes 9.0

Try it again, I edited a revised attachment because I noticed some goof ups with the names at the end of the story.

Story isn't bad. Catfight with Nicole in it? Hehe. But 95% of your uses of "your" are wrong.

So it finally worked by having my iPod restore to it's factory settings. Now I have to find all 40 of my Ryan Farish songs and the other 200 songs to sync again. My apps were restored the same way thanks to a back up.

I know, there are other mistakes in there too, like I said in that post it's only a rough draft so I'm still going to revisions on the dialog, different scenes, etc.

Hey Martin, Jen and Mike gave you a little shout-out this morning at around 6:30 Central Time this morning on YWT. They had the camera panned to Norfolk. I'm sure you're used to this, because you're good friends with them all. But I just wanted to let you know that they did. How cool is that?!

Gotta love Comcast, they ended up not adding TWC HD to my system. 

Edit: Just got off the phone with Comcast and they told me "we see no records of any new HD channels being added for today (4/21) sorry for the inconvenience this problem may have caused"

& get this, Why send a notification bill specifically stating HD channels would be added if it's not in the computer system? I'm flipping mad

Tip:  get a Twitter account, tweet something with a #Comcast hashtag, and they'll try and help.  I've had two problems and the Twitter people are MUCH more helpful.

Are these channels that other areas have and your area is just waiting for upgrades to get it? Sorry to hear that. Its a common thing for these upgrades to get delayed. In my area some remote counties took nearly a year. I always found those little notices on the bills were just a clever way to get folks to shut up and stop complaining. Really crappy of them

Alex, I don't understand why Comcast has taken so long for you to put up more HD channels like TWC.  I've had TWC HD for two years either by Time Warner Cable when I was in NY or by DirecTV in WV now.  I see all these ads portraying who has the most HD channels, and I'm really starting to wonder what's really true.

To my knowledge, DirecTV is confirmed to carry most cable networks in HD.
