My step-nephew[?] is really into Pokemon right now and he's like 18-19 years old and a senior in HS. I give him crap about it though  :P

Sheesh, it takes forever to publish 720p clips in any software, let alone 1080p clips. I just uploaded a 13 second 1080p clip, which took 5 minutes to publish and 30 to process on youtube. Now I'm publishing a 720p clip that will all in all take a half hour to publish and who knows how long to process on youtube.

I really can't understand what is so big about Pokemon... seems a little "young" to me.
I know several people at school still into Pokemon. I remember how HUGE it was back in like 1999. Everyone talked about it, and the teachers at school would give students detentions for bringing pokemon cards in. Good times, lol.

Gotchya.  Didn't even know they still made Pokemon. Hmm..guess you learn something new everyday.
They are going to milk the series to death. I enjoyed the cartoon and some of the games back in the day. Now its just childish and dumb to me. The series is just a money making gimmick now imo.

That's exactly to why I don't watch the show anymore. Yes, I know I still enjoy it, but like I said, it's mostly the "classic" stuff (meaning 1999).

I'll pass my turn on the pronunciation of that volcano to someone else as I don't even know how to begin saying it.

Thank you for the well wishes to those who responded to me earlier today.  It's still going to take a while though with how frustrating things are in the job search and other things circling my mind now.  I just hope things slowly get better from here.

Well, the decisions have been made, and I got in on my school's TV Production staff for next year! I'm not sure when decisions as to who will be on what group (and other things of that nature) will be made.
Congrats, Aaron! B)
Yeah Aaron, congrats! Does this mean you'll be working on Channel 925? Or whatever it was for educational access? If so, i'll tune in

And Josh, I'm sure whatever is going on will stop. Every town has it's flaws. Example, mine and East Lansing (Don't know about Haslett), seem to be home of some stoners. Do they do anything? Not really. Keep to them selfs? Yes. And the worst crime i've seen in my neighborhoos is just a mailbox fire down the road. That's it.
But your situation is a bit different...

You will need
  • An Gun
  • Ammo
  • An knife to put in their hand. Good ol' Texas laws really don't care. If they have a weopon equiped, anyone is eligable to protect ;)

Hope that helped  :drunk:

Sorry about the double post... just wanted to put my word in, too ;)

Exactly! Only the 1999 series was good. Good times, I used to be obsessed with the games too. Like Pokemon Red (Fire... whatever it was lol). After they introduced the new pokemon to the series, I just said screw it. But like Martin said, it's a money making gimmick. I can't stand that show anymore.

Yes, I will be working on it and I intend to be an "OCM", if you will :P
Haslett puts out its TV through Channel 22 to all viewers of 22842, so next year you should see me. But thanks

I just wonder how they happened to squeeze that on the lower thirds

Well, if they pronounced Ana wrong (Ah-na instead of A-na), then I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same with that. :P
