So, I bought a Motorola DROID a few weeks ago... I transitioned from a BlackBerry Storm to a Motorola DROID... I have to say, I am impressed with my purchase and am happy I have made it. It runs on the Android 2.0 OS, which is a linux based distro. I rooted the phone, which gives me the ability to run applications in super user mode, which enabled me to play around a bit with my home screen and looks and what not. I replaced the stock keyboard application and stock home screen application, and I'm enjoying it so far... Every day I keep playing around with it, finding new things, and playing around a lot.

Replaced stock keyboard, which is more powerful than the stock keyboard. It's called "Better Android Keyboard"... go figure. It gives me spelling suggestions, auto complete options, and popup keys. Popup keys is one of the features from the iPhone I like... it helps me to see what letters I'm pressing...

I'll probably play around with it some more and hack it around a bit more to my liking. Overall, I am impressed that Motorola developed such a great phone, especially after their shiteous ones.
