is there an option to hide your email address in your profile to members as well. many people's emails are hidden and I wanted mine as well since so many people are asking for my email, not bothering to look in my profile.

Yes, there is an option top hide your e-mail.

How can you do it?

Go into your profile, click Account Related Settings in the box on the left, and right below the place where you enter youre-mail address is a checkbox that says Hide E-mail Address from Public.

I did that and it's still showing my email address.

One thing to keep in mind: You can always see your own e-mail. In order to find out if it worked you have to have another member look in your profile. I can't do it because I'm an admin and we can see everyone's e-mail address.
