So, I assume most of y'all are on summer vacay now? I have a week to spend! I don't get my final grades till Monday. So I'm practically nervous. :S

I wish.  I started summer courses last week, one of which is Calculus I, which I dropped last semester because I had a horrible prof.  Seems to be going better this time around, I have a test tomorrow so after this post I'm grabbing a cup of coffee and hittin' those problems.  My other class is a weight-lifting class.  I only need one credit after calc to get my degree, so I figured what the hell?  Might as well doing it and get buff (HA!!..right).  At least physically fit.

Ill be taking Calc 1 hopefully my Senior year (pre-Calc next year).. i heard its rough and varies by instructor.. :hmm:

This will be my last week of school... I have only 3 finals I have to take.

It's like that in my school too, but the kids there took Algebra 2 during their freshmen year and geometry the following year. I don't think you can jump right into Precal without taking Algebra 2 though.

Then you shouldn't take Calc 1 in college... I would choose an advanced algebra course instead before moving on to a calc course. :yes:

True, but I don't get credit. I need a certain number of credits for graduation. I also have to take Calc by sophomore year if I want to transfer into a pharmacy school and that too is contingent on the number of credits I have.
