Anyone ever see a Low Ground Clearance sign before?

I spotted two of these on what is probably the poorest state-maintained road in the county.

I saw those a lot while going up the Delmarva last year on U.S. 13.

I have seen several of these signs in WV and know why it's a needed warning.

Never seen those before, or even heard of "low ground clearance" before. You won't find anything like that near the busy, congested roads around here. :P What's the purpose of that anyway?

It's for trucks that are pulling trailers...or even just vehicles. It's to protect from being high-centered. If only one of those would pop up during major winter storms for cars. <_<

They have them around the Wayne County Transportation Authority (Detroit International Airport), and around Lansing. Those things are annoying with bigger cars :hammer:

We've been high-centered before, but it wasn't because of a :censored: ly-made road. It was because of snowpack.

I am so glad to be back home. I've been away for a while. I've been in and out of the city all week.

The Family Reunion was great. Everything was awesome as planned. I'm now working on a movie with all of clips I caught. I have to make... uhh... 30-40 copies. :P

Also I spent the week at Ensenada. The hotel I stayed at *promised* wifi, but I was charged $2 an hour to use it at the Pool Lounge.  So, which was why my lack of activity here kinda drifted on. But.... I'm pretty happy to be back. :)

I had plans to be away again tomorrow, but I'm very homesick. I miss my kitties and my doggy, and most of all my friends and family. I guess when the 5.4 earthquake hit on Wednesday, I started to worry about everyone in EC and my cellphone lacked service when I was at the beach.

I really hope everyone is well this week, and hope everyone had a great holiday weekend last week. Mine's been a blast!

All the hotels I've been to don't charge anything for internet.

Thanks Martin. :) $5 Euro... that's just as expensive! Remind me to find a hotel with free internet that's not wifi-ish next time I visited Ensenada (last time, in October, the hotel I stayed had free internet, but I was lucky enough to bring an Ethernet cord to connect to the modem provided).

I am so totally getting some slurpeez tomorrow, I'm probably gonna walk to my nearby 7-Eleven store tomorrow morning before the heat comes to me. I don't want to come home with my melted slurpee!  :bleh:
