Well... I'm back from hiatus... amazing that I missed so much. Last week my laptop's AC Adaptor broke down so I immediately ordered another, so I ended up a week without my precious laptop. I had my PC but it runs so slow on websites, and I also had my iPod, whom I never pay attention to. So, I don't want to make this long, I'm just gonna run down some topics you guys talked about that interested me.

1. I will agree with Martin and everyone else.. contacts do not have diseases. I do have a reason why I am against contacts... you lose them easily. Surgery is the best decision, and I'm glad I made that decision almost a year ago.

2. I've been done with school since last Thursday. Math was the last final I had to do, and I did pretty good. I'm still waiting for my grades. I hope they're posted by tonight.

3. You're already leaving, Patrick??? ohhh man Imma miss ya!

Oh, btw... I'm working on a pokemon hack this summer. Since I got lappy back, I can work on it now. ^_^

Apparently, wikipedia is "not a collection of links". One of the users added "&feature=channel" back into one of the video links for an XL in the database (which I edited out to make the links uniform), and told me that wikipedia is not "a collection of links" on my talk page.

All of those links are bad in terms of bandwidth - that's probably why they don't want too many of them.

My finals are over as well but I think I did really bad on the Algebra final. I forgot 2 important formulas and couldn't finish the exam in time, I had almost 10-15 questions left blank.

So Comcast has given me the run around with this whole digital conversion concept. We went right through it in Lansing back in December, no problem. But from what I have seen, my dad got no notices of the conversion, and I only saw the warning message on channel 37, not 40 (TWC). In Lansing, we were able to get two digital cable boxes, in addition to two digital transport adapters, free of charge. We also swapped out a digital cable box for an HD box, again free of charge. My dad and I walked into the Comcast office between Lansing and the E.L. this afternoon, and were told we could only have two digital transport adapters, and a digital cable box would cost $7.95 more per month. These boxes only go up to channel 65, and there are a couple good channels (including CBC, Canada's better version of "NBC", if you will) above that.

One of my teachers who lives down at Atco, NJ told me her area is in the process of going digital, so I won't be surprised if it happens here in the coming weeks. The transition has already been completed in southeast PA last November.

Speaking of cable, I noticed in the past month or so that these thick cables that are orange and black in color are being placed underground along the outside of my subdivision. Are these fiber-optic cables?
