The GFS model for the period of 8/22-8/24 looks interesting, It's bringing some kind of Tropical System into the Northeast, I'm not sure whether it's TD 2 or that (as described by Accuwx's Henry Margusity) "Monsterous" Wave off of Africa, though. So if you live in the Northeast, keep an eye to the tropics.
Evan, it is this wave that is behind TD 2 that is attracting all the attention. As soon as the circulation begins to close and come together with that wave, we could be looking at something significant on our hands. However, it is still much too far out and too many factors are changable at this point to determine exactly what this system will do. At this point, it does look like the Eastern Seaboard is to be impacted, but again, exact information is extremely unclear at this point. TD 2 has undergone some weakening, as it has encountered easterly wind shear and dryer air. It now appears more likely that it will not be named, and the 2nd system will be given Ana.
Anyway, on a different matter:
Has anyone had a video with "Rockit" by Herbie Hancock matched third party content? My video "Lansing Intellistar- First Song Of The July '09 Playlist" has. However, what is odd is that I posted a video of the Bad Axe XL with that song and it has not been detected.
