All school closings in Maryland have been cancelled.Starting tomorrow all schools will be back open. Evidently this flu really is weaker than they thought.  :thinking:

But on the same token they did confirm the first U.S. death from the swine flu today.  :yes:

That is very sad that the flu has indeed taken a life in the states.  Although this doesn't make it any less unfortunate, maybe to help ease some fears, the lady who died also had several other medical problems which helped to complicate things when she got the H1N1 virus.

i think it's a bunch of bull...the media loves to use the propaganda method on everything now-a-days.

maybe it's time to update the scale to being called an actual "pandemic"...just my personal opinion.

Thanks a lot, WHO. The Swine Flu sensationalism was behind us for several weeks, and I don't see any logical explanation to bringing it back to the American public.
