The Dallas Cowboys lost again, this time to the undefeated Atlanta Falcons.

Yep, the Cowboys are screwed.

My Alabama Crimson Tide was helped greatly by Baylor beating Kansas State and Stanford beating Oregon this past Saturday night. We are 2 games away from the big game in Miami January 7th.

Well, 2013 is off to a crazy start in the sports world.  During the Outback Bowl between Michigan and South Carolina about an hour ago, the referee screwed up determining whether a first down had been gained during a chain measurement.  It was a critical call as Michigan had just ran a fake punt in the 4th quarter during a 1-point game!

Fortunately, poetic justice was served on the very next play, and the commentary was hilariously biased.

That kickoff from Atlanta after their field goal was half-assed enough though to get Seattle a big jump.. had Seattle just gone for the field goal, then they could have possibly won it..

While Atlanta almost choked the game away in the fourth quarter, Seattle absolutely blew it in the first half by not scoring a single point.  Seattle's last possession in the first half was atrocious.  How do you fail to score anything because the clock ran out to halftime when you reach the red zone with 42 seconds left?  Inexcusable!

If Seattle would have just got on the board before the half, it would have given them a little hope and momentum for the second half instead of being shut out and forced to pull off a miraculous comeback.  It turns out that only one field goal would have changed the complexion of the final seconds in Atlanta's last drive and perhaps the entire outcome of the game.

Anyway, the NFC Championship will be San Francisco at Atlanta for the 3 PM game next Sunday.  The AFC Championship will be Baltimore at New England for the 6:30 PM game afterward.

We have our Super Bowl participants.  The Baltimore Ravens will play against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII, which will be played inside the Superdome in New Orleans, LA.  Kickoff will be at around 6:30 PM EST on February 3, 2013.  If anyone is wondering, a 30-second commercial during this Super Bowl is going to cost about $4 million.

A Falcons fan got his throat slashed open in the GA Dome parking lot for talking a lot of smack to a 49ers fan afterwards. Great sportsmanship.

I like how after the lost, the so called fans who are actually fakes are the first to trash talk the Falcons as a sorry team because they lost knowing full well they didn't give a crap about them to begin with.
