Title: Poll - Male users: Do you ever wear pink
Post by: IntelliStar on August 23, 2011, 12:56:58 PM
I was wondering, for the male users here: do you ever wear pink?

I personally enjoy it.  It reminds me of nice smooth jazz.  Also, Real Men Wear Pink!

I don't have a problem wearing a pink shirt, but I don't have one. I don't think I've ever worn anything with pink in it.

When I was younger you only wore pink if you had no other possible choices left! haha. Now it has turned into some odd fashion thing

Wearing pink has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with sexual orientation! I am straight as well, but I wear pink.

I agree, being straight has nothing to do with it. I have two American Eagle t-shirts that are pink. I won't reveal my sexual orientation since that has nothing to do with whether a guy will wear pink.

Sure, I've worn pink before: a pink polo shirt. But it has nothing to do with sexual orientation. But wearing pink doesn't mean you're gay, not by a long shot. As my high school put it:

REAL MEN WEAR PINK.

I don't see what the problem is with men wearing pink. It's a complimentary color with say, navy, black, gray, and khaki. Did I also mention that, at least with my experiences and observations, girls like guys wearing pink?

Oh, and the "Real Men Wear Pink" came from our all guys school, and it was part of a campaign for the Susan B. Koman Breast Cancer organization. But the slogan also suggests that men that wear pink are confident, but at the same time caring.

That was a joke, but let me rephrase. No, I don't. I'm not a pansy. :P

I can honestly say (without shame), I wear pink on occasions to support cancer survivors.
