You all know that we have been waiting for one of these events in nearly 10 years during the 9/11 attacks, so Osama bin Laden has finally been killed. This is not a joke since I'm currently listening to live news coverage as I type. IT'S ABOUT TIME!  :clap: :dance: :biggrin:

What an awesome day to be an American! but it won't have an affect on withdrawing troops from the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq

But anyways, though I don't really follow political issues and stuff, I'm glad the whole thing is finally over... after what.. 10 years? I'm proud of Obama and the troops overseas. This is definitely a mission accomplished.

Very nice, the troops have worked very hard trying to find him, and the mission was accomplished. While I don't want to turn the subject away,the black boxes from Air France 447 crash two years ago were also  found, so that's another mission accomplished this week.

God Bless the United States of America!!  Such a great day for Americans.  Thank you to our fantastic military and our government officials for completing this task!

Without getting too political, I've got to hand it to President Obama.  I am almost SICK of people (Obama haters, mostly) saying he had NOTHING to do with it.  BS!  While I think most of the praise should go to our wonderful military, you've got to hand it to Obama.

And then you've got " very religeous" people saying we should not "celebrate" death.  That  pi :censored:es me off!  We need to be happy that a man who killed thousands of innocent life is not dead himself.  He has caused so much heartbreak in this country, and can no longer take lives.  That is what we are celebrating.

Unfortunately, al-Qaeda is still out there, but I am sure the momentum of the group is no longer there with their leader no longer living.

Good, at least we got justice after nearly a decade. However, this will make tensions rise in the Middle East, therefore increasing flight risks.
