I have to agree.

In my opinion, "Old" or "Vintage" technology would have to be at least 10 years old. So in the case of this thread, anything made before 1999.

My IBM PS/2 Model 55SX:

It boots up, but isn't really able to do anything practical because I need to replace the motherboard battery.

if only I saved my old 286 machine when we were evicted in 2006... it had a massive 12MHz processor, a whopping 40MB hard drive, 5.25" floppy drive, 3.5" floppy drive, and a whopping 640kb of RAM! God, I was on this machine until 2005, god I went nuts when my brother gave me his newer old machine...

I do have an old Macintosh laptop (Powerbook?) that still runs OS 7.
Im curious to know what model. :)
That would be a PowerBook 5300cs.  With a bad mouse button.

Cool, I'm looking to buy a 1400C, which is the successor to the 5300 series.

Busted trackpad button no more...fixed with some tape and toothpicks.

It's running System 7.5.2...I have a copy of 8 laying around here somewhere (given I can get a CDROM drive working with it.)

Just found a real oldie at my dad's house.

That oldie is

The original MS-DOS 5.0  5.25 Inch floppy disks
Wish I had a WeatherSTAR 4000. Brings back memories.
