It seems to me that at school, I'm having a bad as well as terrible day. And seems that even some TWC fans think I'm annoying when I'm not annoying them. As for this, what's happening is that everyone seems to be acting the same at school to me. To me, it makes me feel sad, I never annoyed them, therefore, I really feel sad and want to cry.
What should I say to this? Should I kill myself for being the most annoying person, or still live here?
I'm really being hated now by all of you!!!! :cry3:
-
You should probably talk to your parents or a counselor. When you have thoughts of suicide you need serious help.
-
The suicide one hasn't gotten into me yet, but I'm very worried because this is really affecting me. This week has obviously gone terrible for me. I felt that I am not welcome anywhere, so this affected me more at school. People told me to get away from them, and I feel that this is making my life worse. I obviously wanted to go home early today, because of this one guy in History class, who accused me of being annoying for no reason!!! Like this is entirely sad!
-
Oh my goodness, that's terrible
That happened to me too when I was in school, so you're not the only one who experienced that
-
You need to talk to a guidance counselor, as in make it the first thing you do when you get to school tomorrow.
-
Tyler, that's a good idea, but this has like only happened for 2 days, but this is something I've thought of, but unfortunately I feel this way. I'll see what I can do.
Who else hates me here? You know who you are! Say it
-
Wow, tell your parents about this. they may help and give helpful advice. :)
-
Who else hates me here? You know who you are! Say it
No offense, but when you ask people if you hate them that won't make things any better. Take Tyler's advice and talk to a counselor. It's the least you can do to solve your issues.
-
Ok, I really do plan to take your advice for this.
-
Does anyone hate me here?
-
Does anyone hate me here?
No, I like you. :)
A lot of people don't like me I can tell but it doesn't really affect me because everyone has a right to who they can like/dislike.
-
I'm sure you do Vic!!! But still, I'm very concerned about the way my life is going now!!
Going from uphill to downhill :(
-
Krishnan, you feel like my next door neighbor. B)
But I get disrespected like this, too. :furious:
-
it's the hormones, it will go away very soon... :)
-
What if it doesn't?
-
Yeah, what if it doesn't?
-
You should really call someone too, especially if you don't like face-to-face discussions (guidance counselors, parents, etc). I don't know about where you live, but there are many resources available around here via toll-free hotlines (Allegheny County Mental Health Association; Allegheny County Office of Behavioral Health; Allegheny County Office of Children, Youth and Families; Allegheny County Office of Mental Retardation/Developmental Disabilities; Allegheny-East Suburban MH/MR; Pittsburgh MHA; and many more). My point is, there are tons of resources available out there should you choose to start getting help over the phone (look at all the helpful offices I found just through Google!). Anything you say is confidential.
One things clear here, however: you need to talk to someone.
-
Hmmm....that'll be tough, but I think that's a fair idea.
-
You know, I sympathize with you Krishnan. I really do. But coming here and starting this thread was not the thing to do. And then to ask who here hates you? Not the kind of thing you want to ask. Take the advice of Tyler and the others.
-
Sir, I am willing to take his advice. But still, this is something I'm willing to do!
-
Hi Krishnan - Sorry to hear you are feeling down lately.
I would like to tell you that you shouldn't get so upset about the people who hate you. I'm sure that the people who you think hate you don't really hate you, maybe they are having their own problems and react harshly or mean to you, but underneath they really appreciate your optimistic approach to being friends.
You have a lot of people who like you too. Your friend Krystal from school, your parents, myself, and I am sure a lot of folks from the TWC Fan community and from school also like you as well. You excel in school, and make wonderful grades, so I am sure your teachers appreciate having you in class too.
So when you are thinking of the people who "hate" you, just think of all the people who like you, and do not associate with those individuals who make you feel unwanted. :)
-
LFMusicRocks: I have felt the exact same way that you do. I have have thoughts of suicide. Life can be really rough sometimes, I am 18 years old and have never even dated anyone so that is usually the reason my my troubles.
My answer to your problem is to just do your best to ride it out, think about the people who care about you, at the moment you may think that they don't exist but they are there! Usually venting your thoughts can help as well, if you need somebody to talk to you can PM me, I have been in your shoes and I know how it feels to be down like this.
-
Wow, I must be mentally strong. I'm 23 and have never dated a single girl (though I have had plenty of lady friends), and I've never thought of suicide.
What's meant to be will happen my friends. There's someone out there for everyone, I don't care who you are or how you look. Making friends is a breeze too. I was never a terribly popular or cute kid, but I was always surrounded by friends. We're all still friends to this day. And you know why? Because we became friends to begin with because we liked each other for WHO we were, not for how we looked, how cool we were, or what we had.
I think the first thing you need to do is take a good look in the mirror and see your self for all the things you are. You need to tell yourself that you ARE good enough. I'm sure you've got friends. Think back on how you made friends with those people. Did you have something in common? Maybe you and your friends are of the same race or religion. Or maybe you share similar hobbies or interests. Make friends with others that share those traits.
As for girls...that is a bit more complicated. Again, a good place to start might be girls of similar race or religion. Image is very important to girls. You've got to carry yourself with confidence. Keep yourself looking clean and freshly groomed every day. Wear nice clothes. If your a little heavy, lose a few pounds. It can be done. Excuses like I can't lose weight, or I've tried every diet there is won't work. Because their just that. Excuses and put offs. If you want to make your life better you need to take a proactive roll in it. Your not a genie. You can't fold your arms, blink, and change everything.
I want to close this by saying that life isn't always a bowl of cherries. Life is full of ups and downs. You can't let yourself get down when times aren't good. Things will rebound and turn around.
-
To prove my point...I just back in from going to get some lunch. While at the restaurant the cashier (who was female BTW) flirted with me, with little or no provocation from me. After she started the flirting we teased each other, had a good laugh, and I went on my way.
So Krishnan, its not difficult at all, no matter who you are.
-
This is exactly what Krishnan doesn't need. He doesn't need to read everybody else's sob stories.
-
I'll delete it then.
-
I wasn't singling you out. You just happen to be one of those people. B)
-
I feel like this often too...but not thoughts of suicide. :(
-
Yeah, I've had similar trouble a few years back but I've never gotten that far where I would post a thread like this here or commit suicide.
-
Why is it that it seems so many TWC fans are so emotionally disturbed? :dunno:
-
Emo, much? Everyone feels like this at some point in their lives. It blows over. I stopped caring what others think of me a long time ago, and I'm a lot happier.
Who else hates me here? You know who you are! Say it
No offense, but when you ask people if you hate them that won't make things any better.
I agree 100%.
Why is it that it seems so many TWC fans are so emotionally disturbed? :dunno:
I ask myself that question, pretty much every time I come on here.
-

I don't know. Some days I feel like I'm in the land of misfits ehen I come here. :P
-
I am back from school now. Today was a much better day. I did talk to my parents last night, they say I need to talk to a counselor. So I emailed my counselor and she may want to see me sometime tomorrow and talk about it. Speaking of which, my day today was excellent!!! :D
I feel that the haters have now become likers. Still, I strongly suggest you guys to give me more advice in this thread about what I should do if I have problems like this.
-
Gosh Chris, wouldn't you just love to know why?
See Krishnan, I told you better days would come. You have to take the good with the bad.
-
Gosh Chris, wouldn't you just love to know why?
Yes, I would, actually.

Let's just say that your maturity level sometimes leaves something to be desired.

Thanks Gary!! Indeed you are nice, you gave me good advice. I'd especially like to also thank Tyler and Mike about consulting the counselor about this. Therefore, I told my parents about it and they wanted me to see the counselor tomorrow. But today, I'm feeling much better. I hope the rest of the week goes well for me guys!!
-
Not a problem, glad I could help!
-
It's something that happens to everybody. Everybody needs help from somebody sometimes, and at TWCT we are glad to be that somebody.
-
Yeah, what Squizz said. :P

I'm glad to hear you got help Krishnan. B)

I think there are a lot of people who communicate with us on these forums and other places online because they have little friends in real life, as well as emotional problems. Though, that really isn't the right thing to do if you want to improve yourself. I've noticed this at other forums I've been to too, not just TWC forums.

Wow, that pretty much describes me. :(
-
Yeah, that's why I started chatting in message boards too, but I eventually learned that it isn't the way to go. Fortunately I have improved emotionally since the start of this school year.
-
I just hate being so different from other people my age. I hate being the only freak who likes instrumental music or the only freak who watches TWC or designs emulators. I like doing all those things, but I just wish people wouldn't reject me because of it. :(

Wait so real people know you like TWC and hate you for that?

Well not the TWC part, but they know I listen to smooth jazz/new age rather than crap or hip hop.

Same here.
I hate it when my parents tell to other guests that I am obsessed with TWC and chat online too much. It's not of their business! I just don't like it that my parents think I go online too much and have thoughts that I am different and "odd" from other kids my age. I LOVE smooth jazz and my parents hate it and get annoyed whenever I hear TWC lf music. Fortunately, I have a few friends who also like TWC. They don't watch it for more than 5 minutes but similar to me, they frequently watch it to listen to the jazzy music and to see the local forecast. And I sure have learned my listen, to NEVER share my iPod with anyone again unless it's a TWC music fan!
But yeah, it's good to see other members who are just like me. I feel great not being the only "oddball". B)

I would never and I mean NEVER be caught dead with my ipod at school.

I would never and I mean NEVER be caught dead with my ipod at school.
You'd get a detention and your iPod taken away if you bring it in school. I'd be speechless if mine were taken away which is why i don't bring it to school anymore.

We're allowed to bring them to school, and sometimes we're even allowed to listen to them during tests. But I don't want someone taking it from my backpack or hearing the music I'm listening to. :hmm:

Nah, if I knew someone who liked TWC, I'd have no problem letting them listen to my ipod. I would have a problem if they stole it from me though. :P

That's me. :( No body likes me at school. They say when I come back from being absent,"I liked it when you weren't here."

Thanks. And when we are making movies in class, they say,"We're gonna put a screen over you while you are talking. You're not gonna be in the movie!" My 4th grade teacher got mad at me after I said "Hi mom!" when I saw her video camera in her hand.
-
No one asks for my iPod, and when they do I reject it. So no one really knows (well, at least the students) that I listen to instrumental music. During school I only listen to it on the bus ride home.

That's my biggest thing - People always ask me if they can use my phone, ipod, calculator, etc. I would never trust ANYONE with things that I value so much in everyday life.
But then again, I'm surrounded with kids who have absolutely no values whatsoever.
