Title: New York State governor Eliot Spitzer resigns
Post by: NYCTWCjunkie on March 10, 2008, 03:25:00 PM
UPDATED (March 12):

As expected, it was all over the New York City television stations and national networks two days ago
and it has again today.

The New York Times reported on Monday that New York State governor Eliot Spitzer is reportedly linked to
a prostitution ring
.

After his scrapped outrageous plan back in the fall in which he wanted to give illegal immigrants driver's licenses,
I won't be sorry to see this moron leave the state's highest public office. If he's guilty of the charges he faces,
he deserves to go to prison.

At 11:45 AM Eastern Daylight Time this morning, Spitzer officially resigned, effective on Monday when
lieutenant governor David A. Paterson will take over.

I'll add today's links when available, but for now, he's the original story.

Wow, I must be in the twilight zone or something. I thought George Pataki was still the governor.  :rofl2: :rofl2:

Anyway, this just proves my belief that politicians are the most corrupt people in the world.

Thanks.

What's with all these political people engaging in prostitutions and sex acts?

Because they think they are mighty powerful and they don't think they would ever get caught

After his scrapped outrageous plan back in the fall in which he wanted to give illegal immigrants driver's licenses,

Oh man, I totally agree with you.  The government can't give illegal immigrants something for nothing
