So, just an interesting question I suppose.
You can vote twice. One for the morning, and one of the evening. Make sence?
If you voted other, feel free to explain what you watch.
I watch Good Morning America almost every morning, and World News once in a while. I used to watch the TODAY show..but I can't stand Ann Curry and Meredith Viera.
-
I voted other. I don't really care much for national news. I just look at local news. Though every now and then I'd watch ABC's World News Tonight, Nightline, or 20/20.
I use to watch Good Morning America up until 2005 when I moved and started leaving school before 7AM. I really don't like how that show is like these days anyway now that Charles Gibson and Tony Perkins left.
-
I'm glad that Diane and Robin are the hosts of GMA. IT was definately better with Charlie there, but I like Charlie better on World News.
-
I watch the Today show and NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. Though I'd much rather see Katie Couric sitting next to Matt on Today, Meredith does a decent job too. And of course Al Roker is always funny. And on the evenig news I think Brian Williams is an outstanding anchor. Probably the best of the big three.
-
I like ABC World News and GMA.
-
I like Charlie better than Brian. When Elizabeth Vargus was doing World News, I was watching Brian Williams. He is a good anchor, and a great replacement for Tom Brokaw. Tom is my friends uncle, btw.

Why that's interesting.
I like Charlie better on ABC World news. IMO, when Charlie was on GMA, I thought 3 anchors would just be too much.
-
There aren't, and never were 3 anchors on GMA, it's always been 2 ;)
-
I thought there were 3, Charlie Gibson, Diane Sawyer and Robin Roberts.
-
Robin did the news, Charlie and Diane anchored that program
-
Thanks for clearing it up, wxmediafan!

Al Roker is on that show? I like him. I watch his shows sometimes on the Food Network.

I like Al Roker. He's funny and cool. ^_^

Yeah, for the last 20 years or so.

I don't watch national news, ever. Only local.
-
I only watch Local News instead of National News

Ok ok ok..sorry for REALLY bumping and OLD thread.
Throught the months I've read SEVERAL articles saying Katie Couric was going to leave her chair after the Inauguration (sorry for spelling). Obviously, this reason was because of her poor (and I mean poor) ratings. I just came across an article today saying that her and her executive producer are being a little more optimistic, as ratings in mid sized markets are up a couple hundred thousand.
I think that they need to bring the morning guy (Harry Smith, I believe?) to the evening, or bring Bob Shieffer back, and then have Katie go to the Early Show, if they want to have any chance at ratings in the morning, or the afternoon.
Speaking of mornings, I have a feeling Diane Sawyer's days at GMA are limited. I know I've read several articles stating she isn't happy with the format of the show, and that she didn't get the evening anchor position. But, seems like she's gone AT LEAST one day a week. If she does leave, I probably won't view GMA anymore, unless someone OTHER THAN Chris Cuomo replace her. I have never liked Chris. I love Robin Roberts though,.
Well, that is that. I guess this is a very big "bump". Go ahead and give your thoughts too :D lol.
-
Looks like Roland beat you to the bump by a few seconds. :P
-
No Roland, I do.

Does this include cable/satellite news stations and news radio stations too?
Anyways, for me, I mostly watch NBC News.

Add MSNBC to my previous post
Then you could have edited it ;)
That was completely not necessary

Speaking of Network news. Election coverage. If you do watch, which one do you think does the best. I like ABC and George Stephanapolis' coverage.
