Sorry, I wasn't clear in what I meant. By ratings, I really meant to say, most people don't know what Weatherscan is, or that it's even affiliated with TWC. That's why in 2005, TWC tried promoting it on the domestic TWC with localized spots (with cable co name and channel number), but they were discontinued shortly thereafter due to timing errors.
For a short time in early 2007, Comcast aired a local Weatherscan ad during the :17/:47 local ad insets. It also didn't have "your city" on it, it actually had Philadelphia on the L-bar. It was also a 30-second ad, unlike the 8 second ones that aired in late 2005. I don't know why they stopped showing the ads during the local insets since there weren't timing errors with that. They only lasted for about a week.

For some odd reason tonight, NBC WeatherPLUS hasn't had any OCM segments.

All they're just doing is music, commercials, and local forecasts.

Maybe it's one of the first signs of WeatherPlus being phased out?

I just tuned in and they are showing a continueless satellite forecast loop with the "L" still showing its local conditions.

Oh and speaking of which, WEEK and WAND have NBC Weather Plus, the only NBC affilite that doesn't have Wx+ is KWQC. I'm able to pick up those stations and WAND and KWQC aren't avaiable on Comcast's channel line-up in my area. WQAD, the ABC affilitate from Moline, IL also has their own weather station too.

How do you know about WQAD and KWQC?  Anyways, yes, KWQC really doesn't do much NBC "stuff".  I don't recieve their weather channel, but I do get WQAD's.

While I was channel surfing. I still have cable, its just that Comcast doesn't have those broadcast stations avaiable on their channel line-up. If they ever add those stations to their line-up, then that would truely elelimate having your own outdoor antenna, RF A/B switches, A/V switch adapters, and DTV converter boxes. According to Antenna Web, I can also pick up these stations in the link below:

Plus, I've been in the Quad Cities before. Its really nice.

The Weather Plus here (WGAL 8) has not been showing the national OCM segments, either. I find it a lot more enjoyable to watch with just the national music/maps feed rather than the national OCM feed.

I wonder if Comcast around here will make Weatherscan a Clear QAM channel on digital once Weather Plus is discontinued?
