It didn't dawn on me until this week, but the 12th (Thursday) will be the 10th anniversary since I wrote my first script for this series. I was in the 5th grade at the time. Time really flew by fast!
Anyway, I'm currently working on developing a new project and this one is much more ambitious because I want to turn it into an internet series on Youtube within the next 1-2 years. Long time I know, but I want to take my time to do it right.
The unofficial name of the series would be
"Misguided or Misunderstood Missile" or simply just
"Missile"Below is brief summary of what I'm thinking for the pilot...
A young, shy, and socially awkward
(age not decided yet) teenage boy by the name of
Missile Parker has his world turned upside down once he learns his father (
Warren Parker) is being arrested for tax evasion, leaving Missile virtually parent-less. In the meantime, Missile travels thousands of miles to
(city location not decided yet) on the apartment doorsteps of his older estranged brother
Rocket Parker. After getting off on the wrong foot from the start, the two brothers try to cope and adjust to their new temporary living arrangements, even though the new living arrangement puts a disruption on Rocket's life before Missile arrived.
Possible Cities I'm thinking of for the series to take place...
