Well I'm attempting to start an in depth discussion so here goes my attempt......
If everything has an equal and opposite reaction, and the universe is expanding, don't the two contradict as there will be a force pushing against the expansion?

Im no expert here but I think the Andromeda Galaxy and Milky Way will be colliding. Theres a reaction for ya. However the rules in space are a little different. But with things like dark matter and crazy abnormalities who knows
The Milky Way and Andromeda galaxy are on a collision course! In about 3 billion years, the two galaxies will collide. Then over a span of 1 billion years or so after a very complex gravitational dance, they will merge to form an elliptical galaxy

I'm thinking there has to be an equal and opposite force pushing on our universe now or Newton's Law should be thrown out.

Which kinda brings us to dark matter. If it does exist then all that black empty space out there isnt so empty.
