Title: Media Encoder Problems - Need Help
Post by: Mike M on June 26, 2008, 01:53:35 PM
I am trying to stream something with Windows Media Encoder on a virtual machine and after a few seconds the encoder stops because it is "unable to keep up with the supplied data." I searched this on google and I found an update, but it's older than the version of the encoder I have, thus the computer won't install it. Does anyone know how I can resolve this problem? I need to get this stream up and running ASAP. Thanks in advance!

What version of Media Encoder are you using? It's best to use Media Encoder 9 for the best results.

Okay, I think I got it working now after installing an update for Virtual PC. Gary, you may lock this topic if you wish. B)

In most cases you will get that error when the program does not have enough resources to operate properly. Your stream is looking great!  :twothumbs:
